Hello, i want ask how is measured the voltage? I particularly understand that positive particles are sent to one electrode and negative particles are sent do another electrode, so electrons are sent to one conductor and to the another conductor is sent what? I don't understand what determines that one electrode is anode and another electrode is cathode.

So it senses a change in the magnetic field or what? Because I would think this kind of meter would measure the flow of a full pipe flowing slowly the same as a full pipe flowing quickly.

You have a magnetic rotor with blades that are measured by the distance between blades by a magnetic pickoff. Usually of ss surrounded by non magnetic steel.
