When I went to FD Seattle 2022 the tire company’s were giving away the old used ones and I got one it was a amazing experience

as many drift events i've been to, i saw a lot of tires going back and forth. Bad tires going away and new tires going in.

A lot of those will be shredded up and used for things like play area floors. So doing skids stops kids from getting hurt 😆

wrong, they manage the power output as the tyres limits them to 4 laps (they need to be able to do a rerun)... We had an opponent who had to drift in 4th gear instead of 5th because of the extra tyre degradation of spinning the wheels in 5th gear.

Honest to God question for people who drift. Do you use a tyre that provides the best grip? Like Nt01 or Toyo 888R Pilot sport cup2? Or do you guys use the worst performance like nexen as seen, or milestar or Ironman if they make one. It be self explanatory. Having a tyre that doesn't grip cause that's technically what's happening.
