I use Trader Joe’s Premium Extra virgin olive oil which is delicious and the least expensive. Consumer Lab ranked it #2 in polyphenols after Dr Gundry’s oil. Not sure if that quantity of polyphenols remains consistent but at least it ranked high several months ago. Consumer Labs testing seems to vary quite a bit.

EVOO is still an oil with the same characteristics of an oil. It's nutrient-poor food. It does contain some vitamin E and polephenols, but it's still low in nutrients overall. It's calorie-dense, and it's also causes people to over consume calories due to flavor and texture enhancement like any other oil, and it's not satiating at all.
ALL oils, including EVOO, are the reason for the obesity crisis together with processed sugar and emulsifiers. It's hidden calories, not satiating, and causes us to overeat. There is HUGE scientific evidence to support it, from ecological data to cohort studies to high-quality human RCTs.
You can get the same benefits of EVOO by eating avocados and macadamia nuts, and you will get more nutrients with it.
