I really like this video. I feel that discomfort of failing at things for myself and being embarrassed at something that will never be seen! A familiar zone doesn’t mean it’s the best zone to be in.

Art block is a pain in the butt, and sometimes I look at other artists and wonder how they make beautiful artworks. But I always have to remind myself that there’s a good chance that they’re fighting against art block as well. You might find their art beautiful, but they think their art looks bad. It’s all about perspective and remembering that we are our own harshest critic! While yes, it’s good to want to improve and make great art, it’s important to not listen to that inner critic too much and remember to just try something new and have fun with it

what I like to do is pick a epic music I love from a movie, draw the character, and just imagine playing that music in the background when we post on social media. Don't know why but adding music to your drawing feels exciting to me.

btw, you should be confident with your art cause it's beautiful. ❤

This is mostly just art journaling, but that's an incredible tool for overcoming art block and finding your voice as an artist. It's also really powerful to show your "imperfect" or "ugly" sketches online so that we other artists can see that no one us always perfect and it's OK to experiment and even fail lol. Thank you for being brave enough to share and I personally LOVE the sketch page. ❤❤
