As a bit of an aside, I just want to remind everyone that the S24 line was seen as a disappointing iterative release before launch. It then outsold the S23 line. I think Pixel 9 will be similar. Tech heads like us won't see much, but the average consumer will dig what they're doing here. Just my opinion.

I would love to see Google have an answer for Dex. With streaming game services like GamePass finally being realistic to use consistantly, I would love to plop my fold down on a dock and have it act as my home PC. Having an interface similar to Chrome OS would be a game changer I think.

Right now, the two products that look disappointing to me are the Fold and the watch. Certainly the Fold has a redesign, however for the asking price and name change, I was hoping it to be truly a Pro level device and camera. With this new lineup, they really need to jettison at least one phone, being either the 'A' series phone or the standard Pixel, which in this case would be the Pixel 9.

Pixel 9 fold pro is coming to Australia with the previous fold not available so it is certainly under consideration - it does seem that there are some reasonable improvements to the previous fold - the AI photo functionality at this stage doesn't really interest me.

I have registered for the option of the "limited edition" offer so will have to make a decision on release if I want to take advantage of whatever they offer as a "limited edition" release.

I would like to have the option to have the new vivo fold to consider but there is no Australian release date announced yet.

I think they came so close to yhe perfect folddable but in nerfing the camera and battery missed, i was considering it but if im paying ng major premium prices i want premium parts. I'll be getting the xl

I'll love for Google to adopt that voice assistant from Apple Siri model and implement it perfectly. I just bought the z-fold 6 and was thinking about shelling out $2, 000 for the pixel fold because I was so disappointed in the cameras of the z-fold but it sounds like Google is doing the same damn thing as Samsung and not improving the cameras which is bullshit and the only reason I was even thinking of getting the pixel fold well that and the bigger screen

Not sure why people keep comparing Pixel 9 shape to iPhone 15 where most android users (don't care about apple) but would compare it to S24 since that has a square body
