Wow, you guys are truly great. My question is how to match a dance style at a club that doesn't really fit into a category. For example, would it make sense to do the hustle with Tropical Deep House Music? It looks like it would work as long as I keep the proper tempo?

Thanks for the hints. How do you know what level you're at and how to make it to the next level? I'm not sure if I'm a good beginner or a novice intermediate. I'd like to go to the next level but I'm not sure what will take me there.

As a trained competitive follower, at times when I social dance I get an untrained leader who jerks me around such as pulling me in hard when attempting advanced ballroom patterns. What can I say diplomatically to set boundaries without being offensive?

Do you have a tip for when you’re social dancing at improver level and the follower doesn’t follow but instead interrupts the flow and tries to teach you things. It makes you lose your confidence.
