Some audio may be muted, apologies for this. I edited it in a way to remove as much as I could, lowering the chance of a claim. However it seems that even 2 seconds of audio is enough to get claimed these days. I still hope you enjoy the video

The "You know, I'm something of a scientist myself" takes home the prize for me

There is a very subtle reference that no one seems to get, that's when May and Peter are talking and Norman is blurred on the background snatching some things on the table. That reffers to the first Spider-Man movie when Norman tries to grab something and aunt May slaps his hand.

Can we all agree how impressive it is Willem Dafoe still looks the same almost 20 years later?

2:00 I don’t know why, but hearing sandman tell goblin how he died, the it just quickly cuts to goblin saying “oh, ” and dying just cracks me up.

This movie could've gone wrong in so many ways. But they did an incredible job tackling this. Great job on this edit!

There's also the scene when Andrew comes out of the portal where he takes his mask off and says "It's ok, I'm a nice guy" to calm Ned's lola down, which seemed to be a reference to the scene in TASM 1 where Peter does the same to a kid in a car he's trying to save

Can't express enough how much this movie means to me for bringing back and combining so many things from my childhood and adulthood together and making something genuinely legendary

I think one of my favourite things about this is seeing Toby Maguire's spiderman "all grown up."

Like, he's a little like Spiderverse's spiderman before he died - fully realised, centred, the most emotionally mature out of the three. But he's also a lot humbler, you get some real zen master vibes from him. Even in the way he talks about Harry - it's played for comedy, but I think there's a nice nuance to the performance there. He still finds it hard to talk about, but he doesn't shy away from opening up to the people who need help. Even the "trying to be better". I bet you he thinks about the Venom suit escapade as his embarrassing teenage years, it's so great.

ESPECIALLY with the way he refuses Andrew's spiderman to call himself lame. Like, he's setting a great example for Tom's spiderman by directly contradicting self-deprecation and building Andrew's up, but you also know he's been there himself. This dude's gone to therapy.

I dunno, Andrew's spiderman definitely stole the show, but while Toby didn't bring a particularly "standout" performance like Andrew did, he brought the exact energy that made sense and was needed in that trio. Sometimes less is more.

Tobey and Andrew looked after Tom like a little brother. They didn't let him make the mistakes they made.
Tobey made him realize that revenge wasn't the most important thing. Since he knew that revenge had in no way relieved him, he was burdened with an even greater burden.
Andrew did not let Tom lose his beloved girl because he knew how it hurt.
This is wonderful ❤️

When Daddy Dafoe said the great line, "I'm something of a scientist myself" I jumped out of my seat and inserted the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme.

The fact they managed to make this into a highly enjoyable movie as well as tie in the different universes so seamless is AMAZING

Also on the bridge fight with ock when Tom takes over his arms, ock says "you don't listen to him, listen to me" just like in Spiderman 2 when he tells them "listen to me now!"

Missing the scene in which ned promises Holland that he would not become a supervillain to kill him, then Andrew touches ned's shoulder, remembering when Harry wanted to kill him, but leaving that reference aside thanks for uploading the video!

Peter 1: "Doctor Strange threw me around trains"
Peter 2: "I stopped a train once"
Peter 3: "I wanna get hit by a train"

Honestly, this film is a masterpiece and a big thing for big Spidey fans everywhere. Childhood was made with this film and it's many surprises! Whenever a line or a reference from a previous film was said or made, it kept unlocking memories of seeing every Spider-Man film ever made! I've seen this film 3 times in cinema and every time, I was an emotional wreck! Childhood was made!

I love how Toby's fighting style with webs is precise aiming, with intention to finish strong. Andrews fighting style is rapid fire, not entirely accurate but it gets the job done extremely well. Tom's is definitely a more loose, free cannon with more intention based on swinging attacks and longer webs. Very cool
