Okay so to clear my confusion:

The spell was to make everyone forget Peter Parker is Spiderman but the people experiences with Spiderman still remains in their memory, so that means MJ still have that one weird memory of spiderman in their Far From Home Trip.

So Strange only knows about Spider-Man due to the spell he cast for everyone to forget Peter Parker existed in No Way Home.

Without the context of *_No Way Home_* it would look like Strange is just protecting Peter's identity.

With the context of *_No Way Home_* it shows that he only remembers Spider-Man.

This raises some questions about what the spell did. If he knows that he casted a spell to erase everyone memories of Spider-Man true identity even himself….does he know everything that happened to Spider-Man including all his friends and family being isolated from him? If so, that feels like something that would cause him to keep a tab on Spider-Man activities to be on the safe side, even if he can only do so when Spider-Man is fighting crime. Also is it just a blur? Like he knows something happened, but his mind is unable to put it together?

I got dollars to donuts strange's spell affected everyone but a select few. Strange probably knows that but, says nothing and knows who Spiderman is. Because the line "More like a man is way too suspect for anything else but, " especially wongs little reaction right there
