Because Peter was the perfect host for venom and Venom grew attached to Peter and felt betrayed when Peter left him and Eddie Brock was mad at Peter the reason is usually because Peter was mean to hima and made him lose his job but anyway Venom finds Eddie and they combine creating Venom and want revenge on Spider-Man
