Tropical Storm Laura and Tropical Depression 14 track and spaghetti models (8/21 7pm)

Tropical Storm Laura and Tropical Depression 14 -- which could soon be Marco -- are churning in the tropics. KHOU Chief Meteorologist David Paul is tracking both systems and has the latest forecast track.

Laura might start sucking the energy out of Marco and in the alternative one could argue Marco is providing very favorable development for Laura. Definitely the most dangerous of tracks is what Laura is taking (straight line near due West). Any sudden lessening in strength for Marco could make for bad news for those for those hoping Laura will stay modest.

Td 14 is nothing, Laura is where it's at. Maybe TD14 briefly becomes a cat 1, but I doubt it. TD 14 heavy rain maybe a few tornadoes.
