Today, I am at Rediger's Auction Company in Western Illinois scoping out their inventory before their big auction

Hartung Family Farms is a farming operation out of Jackson and Clinton County Iowa, with our main farm located in Preston Iowa. We have around 2400 acres of corn, soybeans, alfalfa, rye, and oats as well as around 750 head of cattle. We have a wide range of International equipment from small tractors from the 1970s to newer large farm tractors!

Ron Our grain cart has big floater tires and skinnier tires on the big ones for more stabilization.

Thanks for bringing us to the farm auction. As a young boy I was always looking at machinery at the farm shops over where I used to live, as me and my parents were going anywhere in the car. If you could choose for yourself and if money wasn't that big of a thing, would you rather go for John Deere then?

I've always liked auctions.
I got hold of a 16 year old Volvo 240
that only went 37000 miles for $ 600 at an auction.
This was 2007.

My neighbor bought that case IH 450. It came to our neighborhood he lives just 5 miles north of Lamotte Iowa. He was putting anhydrous on today with it across the fence for me!!

Your talking about the full power folding grain tank wrong. You can get extensions for the grain tank and that’s what covers the whole thing but you have to get them to switch out the small ones that come stock on a combine!

If that is the same as a 120 maxxum which I would guess it is the shifter on the right is a high/low shifter and then to get from a to b or c to d there’s a button on the back of the throttle that you have to push when you shift with the button. It’s confusing at first but after a few hours it makes sense

Pull out the dipstick to check the oil and coolant plus gearbox and hydraulic oils

I love going round the auctions. You work for jd but you obviously prefer case!!!! I don't dislike case but at heart I am a massey ferguson nut. You have a great deal of stuff over there that you don't see in North East Scotland but it is nice to look.

Better check the rotor cone on that 8230 really well. That’s about the hour mark that you need to replace it. Did our 8120 last year and it’s a terrible job haha

Ron I'm not sure who mentioned it in their video lately but said the bottom unload trailers are heavier reducing the amount of grain you can haul, if I remember correctly. May have been Zach🤔 😎👍 〽️

in the maxxum it has 4 ranged a and b are the low, c and d are the high. and you can shift betwenn a and b witholut moving the handle and the same with c and d

Oh it would be nice to have another 535 on are farm we have one with 32 inch tracks it would be better to have 36 though

This is just me but... I liked the way the cam was running mostly though the other setting better... but that is me, plus you know your stuff I bet you dream your job. LOL Tah Tah for now....

In an other video you mentioned that you needed more hp than this 110 has, but it is one of the smallest in the series, can easily bump it up another 30 hp with out worries, that trans is a 16x16 semi power shift. My biggest down side to that tractor Would be the mechanical 3pt hitch.
