Your son is so adorable, and so knowledgeable about the garden. Good job raising him right!

Impressive variety in your yard! Love the air plant tree. Great idea. Your kids have a lot of knowledge too.

Another interesting garden tour with excellent commentary. 😉😊
I think the small plant you said gets purple flowers at the beginning of the tour at about 4:27 may be spiderwort? It is so pretty when it blooms and the foliage is dense and pretty too. However I have a word of caution if that is what it is. My Mom gave me a start of it about that size when I first moved into my house 35 years ago. I kept a bed of it and loved it for a couple years. But it spread and reseeded literally everywhere. I tore it out because it was in my lawn, in my other beds yards from where it had been planted and to this day it still pops up. It gets thick dense roots as well that have to be dug up not just pulled by hand. That being said, hopefully yours is a newer cultivar with some of the invasive tendencies bred out of it, because I do see it sold at nurseries and it is beautiful.

Good morning! We always called the Snake plant a MIL's tongue, so I don't know what the little spotted one in the front is. (Maybe something in the hosta family.??) The thin green leaves is not Oyster plant. That is the purple/green plant across from it.
