Does anyone cringe at how a lot of the comics totally switch up their personality on rogan? Bert stays the same but Segura turns into this humble reserved guy on rogan but in his own pods he has the ego of Godzilla looking over Japan. Shultz does it too, so loud and extra usually but then he’s on rogan he’s quiet, reserved and pensive. Put any of em in a room with someone that can slap the shit out of them if they talk shit and they just agree with that person and never elaborate. Reminds me of myself when I was younger and I’d walk into a rough pub full of savages. I’d go quiet, but in my local I was loud and brash as fuck. Sounds really cave man like to put it that way but that’s what I think it boils down to with these lot. They haven’t left that teenage/young adult faux masculine mindset.

Norm MacDonald did it right. He worked hard on his act, had a few great specials, did funny appearances, and we never knew much about his life except in the broadest strokes. It was about the quality of his work. Bert and Tom need to hear "familiarity breeds contempt". Norm would have never done us this dirty, bros. Tom Segura and Bert just pump out low effort products not remembering we're comedy fans, not Bert and Tom stans.
