Dungeon Dudes: "It's weird that there's no Druidy Sorcerer"
Wild Magic Sorcerer: *Turns themselves into a potted plant*

Sorcerer’s get transmuted spell too, so turning your fire ball into “lightning ball” then maximize with the tempest cleric channel divinity for massive AOE damage!

2:49 For the Artificer/Sorcerer, I think Colby nailed a Clockwork soul Sorcerer Tank with Armorer Artificer build that focused on the Bastion of Law damage reduction feature, and the Guardian artificer armor.

One of my favourite classes in Pathfinder is the Bloodrager, It's a fused class of Barbarian and Sorcerer.

For rogue you can go Swashbuckler to add charisma to initiative for the sorcerer who has to go first

Just the idea of a Paladin with Armor of Agathys, Spirit Guardians, Hellish Rebuke, Booming Blade, Smite Spells, and Divine Smites makes me tremble in awe. Divine Soul Sorcerer makes Paladin seem so powerful.

Edit: Oathbreaker Paladin and Divine Soul Sorcerer with either Mark of Warding Dwarf or a background (rune shaper background) or feat to get Armor of Agathys. Try to get Armor of Agathys off before combat. In the first round, quicken cast Spirit Guardians then use Booming Blade and Divine Smite. For every other round, throw a Searing Smite on that Booming Blade and then Divine Smite. If they hit you, use Hellish Rebuke.

If they stay in Spirit Guardians, they'll take damage. If they leave, Booming Blade will hurt them. If they charge you, Armor of Agathys and Hellish Rebuke will hurt them (as well as Spirit Guardians).

Loving the rankings. I hope that when Sebastian’s guide to Drakkenheim officially releases that you do a ranking of the Apothecary multi class options.

31:20 No, the forced movement from Crusher would not trigger the extra damage from Booming Blade. However, it does push them away from you, so if they want to hit you they have to move to do so, unless they have reach or range.

For a pretty niche Bard/Sorcerer combination, if you are in a campaign with a lot of political intrigue, or are in a situation where the party has been captured and needs to escape prison without their equipment, Subtle Spell + Silence (in the Bard list, but not Sorcerer) followed by Subtle Spell + Knock allows you to bypass locked doors and containers without Thieves' Tools, without the noise created by the Knock spell, and without having to roll for it.

Multiclassing into Bard also gives you light armor proficiency, a few martial weapons, and ritual casting. Being able to Detect Magic or Identify without compressing sorcery points into spell slots feels very good, as well as a few spells that aren't natively on the Sorcerer spell list (Distant Cure Wounds, Twinned Dissonant Whispers). That, and having higher level slots to crack into sorcery points isn't bad at all!

One mechanical synergy with the Ranger is the Fey Wanderer's Otherworldy Glamour, which gives you a bonus charisma proficiency and a bonus of WIS to your Charisma checks. I don't know if it's enough to redeem it, but file it away with the Bard multiclass under "could be good in a social-heavy game".

It feels like the Armorer really gets overlooked sometimes. It is the only subclass that allows you to dump BOTH Str and Dex and still get a 20 AC from just level 3 (21 if you use an infusion). So I think it really opens up multiclassing with other casters that use Wis or Cha and not feel the bind from being M.A.D.

The sorcerer/wizard multiclass gets worse when you look at the ritual caster feat. You can get all the wizard ritual spells you want without having to multiclass dip at all. You can get Rary’s Telepathic Bond and Dramji’s Instant Summons; fifth and sixth level wizard rituals and cast them as rituals as a single class sorcerer without having them count against your spells known. It gives you that studious scholar feel to a sorcerer except it’s actually good.

In a more RP focused campaingn, I would dip into the Divination Wizard subclass with my Wild Magic Sorcerer, as it would be like an attemp to control the ramdomness in my casting. I would also take the same dip with my Clockwork Soul as the consequence of my studies trying to unsderstand my own magic, unleashing a hiden potencial for manifestation of Order that could not be reached without discipline.

Takeing a single level of wizard as a socerer gives you access to all the first level ritual spells so you don't have to prepare them as a sorcerer anymore. Just having comprehen language, detect magic, identify and find familiar as rituals is pretty good.

You can also prepare a few clutch spells on your wizard spell list that don't care about your int, like shield, abosorb elelments, and magic missile to allow you to retrain those spells on the sorcerer side for higher level spells.

Finally, you don't lose any spell slot progression. I feel like taking 1 level of wizard is worth at least a C.

You are an enjoyment to watch. I'm also 10 episodes in Drakkenheim. And you have also taught me so much about D&D.
Thank you

Appreciate you all keeping the videos coming despite the busy schedule to get us all by until the next campaign session!

Barbarian-sorcerer in Pathfinder is a bloodrager, which is a pretty fun class. DnD needs something similar!
Pathfinder (1e) has the fey-sorcerer covered as well, with the fey bloodline, or even better, the sylvan sorcerer subclass that gets a druid's pet and a bunch of nature-based spells.

I don't play DnD at all these days but I thoroughly enjoy watching you guys create character ideas based on theme, martial prowess or otherwise. Really appreciate your commitment to sharing these videos and passion for DnD. Can't wait for the next vid
