nerites help with the spot algae on the glass, for the plants i recommend amano shrimp (caridina japonica). they saved a couple of my aquascapes that would have probably needed to be taken down by now. sure, it takes some time till they start eating well, but as soon as they start, u will be shocked. the best algae batteling strat i recommend is checking and fixing ur water parameters, lowering the brightness of ur light, ect ect ect... but since ur experienced and uve probably done those simple things i recommend to add this combo to ur tank: nerite snails, amano shrimp, and hillstream loaches. ive used it in some of my aquascapes and it DESTROYED the algae. good luck!

At the moment, I have 3 nervte snails, one spoiled. The spoiled one, knows when it falls upside down, we will flip it, if it’s unable too, so it decides to always fall, because it knows we will pick it up, although it’s amusing.

if you ever have an algae bloom in your aquarium i also recommend water fleas... they are natural filter feeders and like to feed on floating algae... but be careful. They could multiply... so you need an alternative aquarium for the little ones so you have a clean aquarium and food for your animals!^^

i have a snail and it reduces the algae in my tank! i also have some shrimp to help too i hope one day i can have a tank as big as yours and get guppies! i just have a small tank cause i really want a puppy and i need responsibility but im getting pretty attached to fish so i want another bigger tank when i get more responsibility! my older cousin was the one who convinced me and mu parents to get a fish tank she has 3 a main fish tank, another one for the babies since she has a pregnant frog and a pregnant fish, and the last one used to be for her sick fish but sadly she died either because she got a new heater and the temperature dropped(all her fish were supposed to die but luckily they didnt) or because she had a cuverd spine and couldnt swim straight we also didnt know if she was eating or not. i hope you can get something to help clean your tank more! goodluck!
