Okay we should talk about kick sauber last weeks pit stop, they went from 50 seconds pit stop to the fastest!! That’s an upgrade too

Ferrari's new front wing is a solid evolution. The larger slot gap and redesigned upper flaps should improve airflow and cornering stability, while the updated end plate junction helps manage tyre wake better. If it works properly, we could see around 1 tenth improvement, especially with potential flex in DRS zones

I am gonna binge on 2020 qualifying for the break, only way for me to cope, seeing that W11 go flat out

Wonder if this spike in McLaren performance is related with their new wind tunnel, after using the Toyota tunnel through the years.

Mclaren will probably put the new floor on norris’ car and the old one on piastris to see the performance differential if they do bring a floor because its evident that theyre not sure how effective the floor will be

your upgrades video is the signal that the race weekend is right about to get properly started! I'm proud that my country is able to host this beautiful grand prix year after year and I'm hoping this year's is another banger!

the prelude leading up to this gp has been epic, ferrari and mclaren both fighting at the front in these street circuits, red bull coming off a better weekend after their plunge, mercedes looking to recover their form from silverstone and spa. the midfield has been delivering as well, alonso put in a masterclass in baku and hopefully this time he would be able to finish on a high note in marina bay (wish the upgrades were ready for singapore). williams has been surging, and we all know the dangers that a freshly unbanned kmag can pose...

weather wise, it has been crazy, rain and strong winds can hit at a moment's notice, and it'll definitely spice up the action even more. i'll be watching the race from one of the skyscrapers in the area with a group of friends, im so incredibly hyped

can't wait to follow your coverage and debrief of the weekend!

(and yes, why on earth is there another 4 week break, the calendar has much that could be improved on, as always... :/)

Its a shame that Astons big upgrade package is coming only from COTA, would've loved to see Alonso fare better than he currently is. The imola floor being brought back is interesting though, wonder why that's the case. Its the only hope I have for a decent position by Aston ngl hahaha, but we'll see what happens 😁

Downforce from the wings can be balanced out by ride height. The less wing you run, the lower you can run the car because it will bottom out less, due to the wing's load increasing by the square of speed. Of course it's a very fine margin because the wings are such powerful flow conditioners and help the diffuser work more efficiently. So finding the right compromise of wing load, ride height, and balance all depend on each other.

Ferrari brings a flexi wing as McLaren.
FIA: "How dare you?" Instant ban.

How about the Aston Martin rear wing, that one they figured a way to get the end plates back? It passed the tests it was for all purposes legal but it got banned anyway
