I never believed that AOC was truly populist. I think that her main goal was always to become a career politician. I remember when AOC was this supposed progressive firebrand when she occupied Nancy Pelosi's office. She was quickly tamed and as soon as she started to refer to Pelosi as "Mama Bear" I knew she was a sellout. She has now learned that even kissing Pelosi's ring won't get her a seat at the table.
