I can tie a Blood Knot faster than a triple surgeon I LOVE The Blood Knot. I've been tying it since I bought an ORVIS Leader Cutback in the early 1970's.Good Video and a VERY nice Rod selection.

I've watched a bunch of videos on how to tie line to line but yours is BY FAR the easiest to understand and to the point
Thank you!

I've been tying this knot going on 40 years and this is the best method I've encountered. Never had this much control over how long the tags end up being. Can't wait to build some new leaders. Thanks very much! Subscribed

I was looking all over Youtube for the best tool to tie this knot, and you just taught me that I already have it. Thank you!

I've used the blood knot for years - and that's the best explanation I've ever seen- kudos.

Great knot for creating droppers on a multi-fly cast - just leave one tag end a little long.

I watched another video about this knot and I was having such a hard time trying to tie it, so I get fed up and stumbled across your video and was confused at first but on my 2nd try I got the hang of it. Now I can tie flouro to my braid. Thanks!

You can teach an old dog new tricks. I started tying blood knots when I was 7. My dad taught me. I am 70 + now. Never been afraid of the knot, but alway felt it was a pain to tie. Your explanation is a whole new and simple way! Thanks a bunch

I’ve been tying this knot the slow way for 40 years! I wasn’t going to watch this because I thought I couldn’t possibly learn anything, anyway I’m very glad I did. Thank you

This is a great practical tutorial on how to tie this knot, most demos of the structure dont actually show an easy way to manage the lines. Excellent video!

I finally figured it out with another fellows easy way to do it and yours is better lol. Eventually someone is going to come along, stare at the line and babing a blood knot but til I learn that method I'm going to try yours now.

Absolutely the best method! Easy to tie, easy to remember. Could not ask for a clearer explanation and the additional video from behind was invaluable.
No more excuses for compromising on another knot.

Just found your channel. This vid came up in my suggested feed. I just couldn't wrap my head around how to tie a blood with my two hands that have fat fingers. I just tried the method you show in this vid and it was very easy! I've always tied my fly fishing leaders with a nail knot. I might switch, if for no other reason than I don't need a tool to do this blood knot method. I'm also now going to use the blood knot instead of an Alberto knot for tying leaders to braid on my bait casters and spin casters.
