Seriously tho, heres a good Ford vs Chevy throwdown, I honestly love both but power nation obviously gives chevy a distinct advantage everytime they do a "equal" comparison, it was nice to see Kaase show that with less cubes he can still beat Pat's chevy

Great video! I'm a ford guy but, competition is good for everyone! An GM guy's do have great builders and engines. John Kassie is a great builder and competitor. He said it himself be humble while your on top. You can be in the dumpster next week. God bless you all!

When a Ford engine is built by people who love the brand and put in the right parts, and know what they are doing, this is the end product.

Jon is one of the nicest guys. I can remember calling him about his products and he steered me in the right direction. Not too many people running a business as big as his would take the time out to do that. I would love for my old man to meet him some day, he would totally geek out in his shop!

One of the most innovative old hot rodders is Kaase. He's probably forgotten more than most Ford guys know. Having built several 460's in the day, I was waiting for this video! Those heads look awesome with the very generous ports, careful radius in the bowl area, and fast-burn combustion chambers. I didn't have anything like that to work with....DOVE-C CJ heads. I Devcon-F filled the dead area in the exhausts and ported the exhausts to lead the flow the time I was done I was standing in a pile of shavings "knee-deep"....cleaning the bowl area and 3-angling the valves really helped bottom end. My engines were either towing or street and didn't have to turn the rpms that these are capable of with all the trick components. Good video....Horsepower doesn't know the name of the engine....just the ability to flow. Those cam lobes in this engine looked like Mt. Everest.

John and his team are God’s amongst men they truly are. So low key and laid back yet so much knowledge and attention to details that other manufacturers just don’t care about. Those st71s with the stock exhaust location are amazing. Any ford lover can fit a set to their car and bolt the old headers right up. Just genius.

My shop is just down the street on Hwy 29. We have been in Winder for 19 years. I have done biz with Jon and his gang on several occasions, They are a nice bunch to deal with. When you see Jon around town and talk with him only then do you understand why they are at the top of the game. True gentleman and always willing to help the little guys get the ford stuff that makes POWER! My hat is of to Jon and his guys, and thanks for the help you have afforded me and my shop.Tim Bolt Master Tech Auto

I built my 545 With Kasse heads. I used a Howards .800 lift solid roller cam. Jon was nice enough to help me figure the correct push rod to use. Have not raced it yet but it's in my Ranger Project truck.

I went to the Gatornationals back in 1977. Dyno Don was putting down some serious HP in his Yellow, Red and Blue Mustang II. I told my buddy that I think he can win the whole thing that year and give Glidden a run for his money. Jon Kaase was his main wrench that year and Dyno Don Nicholson got not only the Wally for the Gators that year, but the Pro Stock championship too. A few years ago, Stacey David built a 67 Cougar and when he revealed that Boss 9 by Jon Kaase, my ears perked up and I was like Hell yeah Kaase is da Man for bringing back the Boss 429.

Mr. Jon Kasse is such a nice person and makes great products. I bought products and have never been disaplointed since late 1980's.. ...And another engine guru down in So Cal, Mr. Mark Kaufmann, also one heck of a great person., and fantadtic engineer.
These guys literally would get on the phone and talk with me, and give me pointers and help, when I was a 20 year old kid, and I am not rich, not a huge buyer, just a regular average person..basically a nobody and they spent time with and even remembered me 15 years later!! That is beyond customer service ..True Gentlemen. I wish them all the best always.
