I've been down this road. Totally miserable. Don't fall in love with someone who doesn't love you back. Guard your heart, proverbs 4:23.

Some people don't love us back bc they're not capable.

I know myself as a happy, strong woman, reserved, sweet and gentle spirited . There is nothing that i dont know i am scared of except one thing and that is when i fall in love i ran away. Whenever i start to feel something good toward a guy i distant myself from being close to him and it destroys the friendship. I couldnt help it. And the feeling i have for the guy i keep it in secret deep in my heart not telling anyone except God. Praying for the right one a spirit-filled man, zealous for God with a heart like mine compassionate for people and passionate for the work of the Lord, willing to lay down his life for the sake of the heavenly call

This gives me hope but also I’m scared it’s feeding into my delusions 😭

Less than an hour ago I prayed and asked God to show me the answer to the question you just answered. By GOD, you answered it fully, and with precision and clarity. Thank you. -john

Please pray for me and my children. Prayers are all we truly NEED. Jesus I still trust in you and will keep my faith even though it is so very difficult. I’m constantly faced with financial hardships and can barely support my children. I’m a single mom. With two children on the spectrum. I’m overwhelmed at times. My boys require a lot from me. I recently started homeschooling them due to bullying and other issues. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined because I suffer from heart disease. I had a massive heart attack a year and a half ago and I also have lupus. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to support my children and myself. I’m now waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making nearly enough. JESUS HELP me. I’m CRYING OUT TO YOU. I’m tired of struggling. Struggling to buy groceries. Struggling to pay rent. It hasn’t been easy. Why me Lord? But I know God doesn’t give you more than you can handle. I know all things are possible through Jesus. I WILL KEEP FAITH. No matter how hard life gets. FAITH OVER FEAR!

I felt I messed up my friendship with them. The feelings were unrequited and I had to go to grief support. I have intensity of love and try to see them through God's eye. I need to give space to them and I will be okay.

I really needed to see this video today. Very sobering. Reason 2 - ‘God loves us and it is not always returned’. God sometimes allows this in our lives for us to reflect His glory in the situation. I imagine the same type of heartbreak we experience when love is not returned from someone we are interested in a relationship with, is what God experiences when we do not return His love. 😢. Reason 3. - Not guarding your heart.

This just made me feel so much better. My mother and brother make me feel like crap, and honestly mock me for being so close with God. Ive actually had to realize there will be no reconciliation. I love them so much and just always hurt. Im just happy to know that the love I feel is a gift from God. I cant even feel like dating because my life has fallen apart, and family has turned on me, but this encouraged me to stay strong in the season I am in, and thankful God has filled my heart with love that I cannot wait to actually give someone one day along with God. For now I just want to draw nearer with God, and praise him during these wonderful Shavuot Holy Days ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

This video, like many others, was SO helpful! And really changed my perspective on things. The point of "give your heart back to God" was amazing!

People have been broken, herd, damaged and have lost faith in whatever purpose God have created for them, and i believe God uses people and their love for one another over a period, to show those who are broken and lost, what love is truly about, and once that person feels that love you are giving them, a seed of hope and restoration takes place, to place them back on track, for the original purpose God created them for, its all part of His master plan for your life, the bible says God have plans for our lives, and the reality is nothing is guaranteed, except for the promises of God, we are the vessels God uses, to bring about his love to this world.❤❤❤

It's option 3 for me! I made the conscious decision to love this person no matter what, and now I do, but it doesn't seem like we can be together and I was kind of stuck thinking I couldn't break this "promise". But what I can do is give the situation and give my heart back to God.

My heart faltered for an unbeliever. I had prayed to God to answer all my questions about her. He did so. Yet it was heart wrenching and sadnesses has overcome my heart. I am grateful to God to have experienced this. I know the Lord is my witness. I pray she is willing to accept Jesus in her life not now but someday. I pray for her heart.

Great video, Mark. Points 2 & 4 really stand out for me. Every romantic interest, business relationship, classmate, friendship, ministry, and even choosing to have children carries a risk of caring deeply about people who won't care about you in the same way in return. Love anyway but stand in the grace of truth. Sometimes you will be called to be a light to a person who will probably realise long after the relationship has ended that nobody else carried a presence in their lives like you did. Hopefully they will know that that is because of the presence of God in your life and come to know Him.

You can always end things amicably and respectfully. Avoid ghosting and stonewalling people because these passive-aggressive actions can burn bridges and leave you having to traverse a path of shame to repair what you damaged later on. Check your own inner struggles because admitting that you may be co-dependent, narcissistic or unstable is hard but attachment styles can cause havoc in a world of insensitive and unaware people.

God wants to teach about love like God loves us. Though our love is unrequited we still love (agape) the person.

I used to think the reason was with me is why the Christian man I love doesn’t reciprocate my feelings, and so I had to do some soul-searching.
It turns out that he is a dismissive avoidant. Now I just pray for him and I see him at church and he usually comes to me and wants to talk, and he walks me to my car. He definitely can’t be
with me if he doesn’t pursue me, but with God all things are possible.
I’m focusing on doing God’s will and serving Him as my priority.

Literally just prayed and asked God a similar question related to this topic yesterday evening. Thank You Lord for answers.

I went 'no contact' with a man I cared about. Then I broke it to tell him everything that led to that point. He disrespected boundaries again and blamed it on alcohol. He seems to have issues with alcohol and admitted it. What we have in common are behaviors related to past trauma. I may be the only person who's confronted him about anything. The best thing for me is going 'no contact' again. I NEED to know God's will given the circumstances!
