Domenico Modugno - Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu (Volare) Live 1958

See Domenico Modugno perform his all time classic "Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu" mostly known all over the world as "Volare" on the show La Via Del Successo in 1958.

For those who don't know:
The song became famous after Domenico performed it at the "Festival della Canzone Italiana di Sanremo 1958" where he won the contest. After that, italy sent him to perform in the Eurovision song contest the same year. Surprisingly he didn't win. The 1. place was given to André Claveau with "Dors Mon Amour". Also a nice song, but in my opinion no comparison.
It shows, at least in my opinion, that the winners of the ESC aren't always really the best ones.
In this case Modugno's song went on to be the Grammys "Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year" in 1959. A big achievment for a musician outside of the USA.

Saddly, I had to cut a big part out of the whole performance. Otherwise the video would have been restricted entirely.
