I wanted to express my genuine satisfaction and positive experience with LYNK&CO 01 model during the ten days of usage. I had the opportunity to drive the latest and most advanced version available as of July 2023. I used the car in the hilly regions of France and on the highways, and it provided excellent comfort during long stretches of the journey.

In my daily life, I drive a WV Touareg, and comparing the two, I must say that your car exceeded my expectations. The electric charging capability, in particular, surprised me with its fast charging speed.

I wanted to take a moment to commend designing and producing such a remarkable vehicle. It truly made my driving experience enjoyable and convenient. I look forward to recommending LYNK&CO 01 car to friends and family who are considering purchasing a new vehicle.

Had one as a rental in Italy for 10 days, loved it!

The showstopper for me on this car is the adaptive cruise control. It didn't take long for me to get comfortable with it. The thing I like the most about it is it will stop completely. Some cars with it will struggle below 10mph (16kph) and make you take over completely. You do have to prod the gas just a little to get this going again, but it will handle that well, too.

I don't think this is a great vehicle for the Netherlands, though. It feels too big for me, without being "big" inside, especially the trunk. Gas efficiency is also a sore point, at about 7l/100km for me. The Mazda3 I have at home has Skyactive, and does 6-6.5.

Love the stereo, carplay, and even the onboard maps are good. It's too warm for the heated seats and steering wheel, but the air conditioning is top notch. Driving, especially on the highway where it's quiet and composed, is also really good. I wish we had a way to charge it, and check out the battery range, but that's a fault of my rental house, no the car.

When can I get one of these in the States?

Thank you for your videos, enjoyed them a lot and it helped me to get to know as much as possible about the 01. Got mine yesterday and I love it. But one thing that drives me nuts, and I don't know if the joke is on me, because I messed up some settings... The 360 3D view is no longer coming up when indicating... Do you have any advice on that? Its not that I can't drive without it, but its a nice one to have and especially in Berlin with all the crazy pedestrians and cyclists... Thanks again Thom!

Hello. Your videos are so helpful. We are considering renting one of these vehicles on an upcoming trip but are unsure about trunk (boot) size. Can you advise the individual dimensions of the trunk, meaning width, depth and height to the bottom of the cargo cover? I am unable to find these specific dimensions anywhere, only total liters. We need the measurements to determine if our luggage will be able to fit in the trunk. Thank you!

I can't charge the car daily so i wil have to drive the car in hybrid mode. So, If you charge the car fully, what wil the consumtion be if you drive the car in hybrid mode the whole time? So you let the car deside when to use the electric motor and when the ice? How many liters per 100 km wil you make?

Hi. Thanks for the video. In a previous one you mentioned the 95 km "bug", is that still there in the new model? Is the bug fixed by using mixed driving mode instead of full electric?

I just had one of these as a rental for 10 days in Spain.
Overall I was really impressed with it, It's shockingly quick considering it's size & the small 3 cylinder engine, Generally a very comfortable car to drive, But I did have some dislikes.
First the boot is actually quite small, probably not helped as it has a storage space under the floor for the charging cable, We travelled to the airport in a friends Dacia duster which we easily fitted 3 large cases into the boot, However the Lynk & Co could not fit them so one had to be placed on the rear seat. Luckily there was only one rear passenger.
I also found the lane assist function to be really intrusive, If you changed lane without indicating it was in fact almost dangerous as it feels like it is yanking the wheel to keep the car in lane.
Also it has real buttons for heating control but to adjust the fan involves multiple presses on the touchscreen which distracts from driving.

Hi Thom, I'm from Vietnam. In Vietnam, LC01 do not have PHEV version, It only have gasoline 1.5T version. Can i ask that LC01 ver Gasoline in Europe is it good quality or it only have PHEV version sir ?

Hoi Thom. Wij overwegen de Lynk en co. En dan met name de 2023 versie (want zwarte hemel en oprolbare bagagehoes). Online zie ik deze versies zonder stuur verwarming. Maar de Lynk en co website geeft aan dat de 2023 wel stuurverwarming heeft. Enig idee hoe ik dit het beste vinden kan?? Alsof er toch nog twee versies zijn in 2023.. ik ben het spoor bijster.

I have this car. The most annoying thing is it doesn't allow you to turn on the air-conditioning remotely unless it's plugged in. I've never heard of such a restriction with other modern cars.

How the driver assistance software? I find that many cars now will have very intrusive and annoying software that constantly bings and bongs at you.

I mean its handy but hopefully you can permanently turn off the ones that you don't need/want
