I've grown green onions in my kitchen! I used an old empty jar, don't remember what I used to have in the jar originally. I put some mancala stones in the bottom of the jar. And then I put like a quarter inch of water in there and just put the green onion bulbs in there, leaning against the edge of the jar. And they would grow fresh Sprouts every week.

After while I stopped growing them because the cat started eating them.

Can you please do time lapse of growing stem cuttings of flowering plants like roses. There is not a single video on this and i would love to watch them growing roots.🙃 Also you can do a comparison video like growing 2 cuttings side by side, one with rooting hormone, another without.

Onions are badass little plants. I legit bought about 100 just to plant everywhere around my house, and some garlic also. When I was a child we had wild garlic, spinach and chives growing in the back yard that no one cared for or gave a shit about and year after year they always grew back.

I do it in a plastic cup, with enough water to cover the roots, plus a bit more. Every few days, I pour the old water out and add more water.

First regrowth is pretty good. Second, not so, which is why I eat the whole thing then.
