I used to help him, as he was a Jack of all trades, I learned many valuable skills that I still employ. But one of the things that I remember were those noises!! You had me cringing when you used a screwdriver up by electricity. I know that you know what your doing but I do the same thing when my son does something. I need a whole new fixture. This is so old and I really would love to have a new one. Right now I don't know when I will see my son to ask him if I buy one when he will have time to install it. I couldn't tell too much but how is the hair going? I have two sons that could use that stuff. One who had tons of hair is starting at the back. The other well lets just say he really needs something. It doesn't seem to bother them though. If it were my older son he would be trying things every day. He has beautiful hair. you can get rid of the rest of the wobble by tightening the ceiling bracket

i have the same fan but i replaced it to a hunter fan because my cat jumped on the blade and made the bracket loose so it fell

I have that same ceiling fan but it has the original blade irons and I would have bent the blade back into shape and if it broke oh well
