The sitting position is another thing. My preferred sitting and placing of a seat as a short person limits my visibility of the blind spot/back passenger window when I turn my head to see. Again depends on the car of course, but I had instances where I could barely see further than window on my side.

I can't see the first handle on my car. To be able to see that, i'll only see my car and pavement in the mirrors. So, this setting doesn't work on all cars.

you are not supposed to see your own car, let alone 2 doors .
