In Gethsemane, there is a clear parallel to the three sections of the Tabernacle. Jesus and His disciples are positioned in three distinct places. First, eight disciples wait at the entrance, representing the outer court—a place of preparation. Peter, James, and John then move further into the garden, reflecting the holy place, where a deeper understanding unfolds. Finally, Jesus is alone in the most holy place, communing with His Father and facing the weight of what is to come.

So he sacrificed himself to himself for rules he made up to begin with? Although sacrifice doesn't make sense because he came back. So really it was just a bad weekend?
