I can agree on things both sides . Sad thing is we have sides . We should be Americans first . This political stuff has destroyed the country . Great video still.

FIRST COMMENT>.I used to like the Democratic party but I moved away from it because of how it causes our polarization between both of the political parties. That is why I prefer the third parties and independents.

Outstanding work. One can be so convinced of their policy that they become dogmatic and less pragmatic.
This is how good intents are lost in the sauce...

3:53 “they aim to spend money wisely” Really? Highly doubtful. Not saying republicans are any better but “wisely” is a word that doesnt describe the democrats

Your videos are good, but I think it would be better to state a given issue, their desired goal for that issue, and their beliefs about how to best solve that issue kind of how you phrased parts of this.

The problem with red vs blue is that the values, issues, and problem solving ideas are framed as if one or the other doesn't care or is completely opposed fundamentally, but in reality they frequently disagree about how an issue is defined or even what the best outcome or solution might be. That's why the USA is so divided, because of all these awful politicians and whatnot phrasing things in an us vs them voice.

Proud to be a Democrat, but most of all, proud to be an American 🇺🇸! I also watched your video on the Republican Party and I appreciate your neutrality in the videos about both of the parties. Let’s remember to choose unity; regardless of whether we are Democrats or Republicans, we all want the same thing. We want what is best for our country. Although we have different ideas of how to achieve the best for our country, if we can remember that we have the same common goal in mind and treat each other with kindness and respect, the possibilities are endless for our nation! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

I’m a Democrat and agree with everything here except. 1. We need to prioritize American citizens over granting citizenship to foreigners. 2. We should research better ways to deal with nuclear waste because nuclear power is a great option to augment energy production. 3. We need to be tougher on crime like theft and drug use, these things will rot society from within

I think that maybe you should mention the division between the far left (Socialists/Communists) and the classical (traditional) liberals. More Democrats are leaving their party then Republicans are leaving theirs. I think that they want to get away from the Socialists/Communists.

I was a Dem for years but something happened in Obama's second term. I feel like the party got too big for its britches and began to drift away from working class voters to the big corporate donors. If the Democrats lose big in the midterms I'm hoping they have a party autopsy and evolve for the better but I'm not holding my breath.

My hard-of-hearing brother has worked for the Democratic National Party as a volunteer for years. I am the registered Democrat voter as my normal-hearing sister (retired R.N.) is the registered Democrat voter sharing with me over other issues in our discussions.

I could never assosciate with the Democratic party, I would barely even choose Republican, for the best of both parties, social acceptance and freedom while not destroying the free market, is why I prefer the Libertarian party.

Republicans and democrats are the same coin, different sides, government in control while non-conformers are excluded and "cancelled"

I noticed you didn't speak on the party's history. Specifically it's role in slavery and the KKK. Why not?

After watching both your videos, I am confident I am a Democrat. The biggest thing pushing me is that I’m a gay man. I know all to well how my Trans brothers and sisters have been treated recently by republicans and its disgusts me. I’m lucky to live in a time where I don’t have to live in the closet. And I can marry the man of my choice. I also definitely agree with their views on climate change and gun control. Also a woman should have the right to her own body damnit!
Great video

When someone calls whoever a progressive they are saying that person is an elitist. When an individual calls themself a progressive they're saying I'm an elitist.

I'll stick to the Independent/3rd party! Hopefully taxpayers will realize Neither major party cares about our freedoms &/or taxes.. Time for young blood with wisdom!

Great video. I mostly disagree with their platform specially on tax, education and healthcare policies. However, I do agree on equality of opportunity but in my opinion they are more focuse on equality of outcome rather than opportunity. They are the party of slavery and the KKK and also 1/4 of their faction are socialists.

Its important to note on 1:01 that Medicare/Medicaid/ and Social Security accounted for 2.7 trillion in Government spending… just fyi… our total revenue was 4.4 trillion and we have a trailing national debt at 33 trillion

The picture that you left out is the one showing that the GOP continually gets less total votes, but because of gerrymandering, every state getting 2 Senator no matter how low their population is and the Electoral College, the GOP is very often in control of the government's apparatus.

I used to be Democrat, but now I'm a Green. The Democratic Party is so divided by center-right and Far-Left politicians.
