TY it was the blue connector tip that worked for me. i'd lost track of the original cable, but found it EZ looking for blue

This fixed a different problem for me. Whenever I used a usb c with a white color that came from one of my mouses, it not only failed to register but caused a “usb power surge” message indicating the usb was drawing too much power. Causing my computer to shut down. Now that I found a 3.2 SS USB C, it not only works but no more power surge message from my computer

Hi! So I bought an elgato used today and oddly enough the elgato didn’t come with its original usb 3.0 cord, so I ended up trying to use some usb 3.0’s I had and I kept getting a message that said “usb communication error detected” followed by cracking noises. When I disconnect and reconnect the usb 3.0 from the elgato, it reconnects and says “device used somewhere else”…. So I don’t know what to do. When I go to settings on my pc, the capture card shows up and says it should be used with a usb 3.0 instead. Maybe I need that special usb 3.0 cord to make it work correctly ?

I bought 2 3.0 cables with 5gbit transfer for my HD60 S but I get a blackscreen. I ordered one for today with 10gbit transfer data, I hope it will work, because I bought it from a marketplace. Strange that your extension works, I will keep you guys updated.

What splitter are you using with your PS3? As I have a feeling it's either the splitter not stripping HDCP that's my issue or the quality of the HDMI cables.

I am currently having the following issue:
I have a signal going to my TV.
There is power to the Elgato HD60s (white leds flash twice) and I am connecting the Elgato to the PC using a 3.0 cable and 3.0 port.
however I get a blank signal when trying the 4K capture utility or when I load OBS up...
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing the blank/black screen ??
