I Bought a RENEWED Nintendo Wii from Amazon for $215... (WAY too expensive)

I bought a RENEWED (basically refurbished) Nintendo Wii from Amazon... for $215!! Just for reference, you can get a similar Wii bundle from eBay for $60 or $70... so this price is real steep for a Nintendo Wii. Check out the video and let me know if you think it's worth $215 for this Renewed Nintendo Wii from Amazon.

I’ve gotten pretty lucky with finding decent condition Wii’s at goodwill surprisingly enough. When I’m looking for retro consoles I keep an eye out and every now and then I get some really solid deals. Found a vita in mint condition at goodwill for 40 bucks once too!

Ah yes the wonderful Wii. One of may to 10 consoles of all time. Nintendo’s awesome library of first party games, incredible titles found in the virtual console (NES, SNES, N64, TG-16, Genesis, SMS, Neo Geo etc.) and GC backwards compatibility! The vast amount of game variety is second to none. Take that little beauty to the Wii shop to see if you can re-download any VC digital games registered to that console.

I would love to see an Amazon renewed 3ds. Handhelds are harder to refurbish so I’m curious to see if it would come in a similar condition.

I'm really surprised how good this console looks refurbished from Amazon. Wish it could be cheaper. I would honestly pay $100 for this, heck maybe even $120 for it. I got a Wii recently off someone in decent condition for $30. Works perfectly. Great system for modding.

Every wii mold is made for GameCube Nintendo screwed the covers on for the GameCube ports so the holes would be covered up on the late 2011 and later consoles do to not having GameCube ports. Try unscrewing the covers on a later model to see the holes.

Now that you mention it, I did throw my Wii Remote back in the day, by complete accident. Swung it as intended, but instead it decided to become a missile that day. Missed my TV by centimetres and BLASTED through the window behind my TV. Landed in the front lawn.

I remember myself saying “Uh huh…yep, that’s enough Wii for one day.”

Man that Wii looks real nice, I would think they just changed the housing, but if they just buffed it instead then they are doing what GameStop was supposed to do instead of just grinding the shine off, but yeah it still feels like too steep, now I fell going to a second hand shop in my neighbourhood to get a Wii they have for $60.
