Nothing tops the Connery Bond movies. Nothing. Just this scene alone. The music, the moonless sky, the slight breeze in the air, the stylishly dressed masses dancing outside, everyone in tuxes and dresses, high stakes gambling inside, just a perfect scene of 1960's cool. Such class.

God Connery bond movies were smooth as silk. The score, women, plot, villains, and casino scenes.

Sean Connery at his absolute best, suave, sophisicated, class, which sets him apart from the rest.

"Then I must past the shoe"

A suave and clever display of a man clinging to its luck and thus winning, and leaving with his adversary's woman, whom he just took his money, just as the odds might change.

Thunderball is not Connery's best Bond film, but it's his best performance. He's so confident, so charismatic, so smooth. Just the way he carries himself in every scene.

I love the beginning of this clip, as he eases off the boat and glides through to the cashier. Sheer class - effortlessly cool.

To me this scene is so memorable. Walking up oozing with confidence Bond takes the man's money, his girl, and flaunts he knows about his criminal organization all in one fell swoop. 😂

The higest peak of the entire saga.
Connery was on the stratosphere, Adolfo Celi the greatest villain, Claudine Auger more precious than the jewels dressed.
At this level, Daniel Craig would be quite simply a bouncer

"Your spectre against mine" Simple dialogue by James Bond but such a badass!

Sean Connery was the best 007. DC fans don't even know about this scene and film.

The two ladies either side of Connery at the table - if you're going to be an extra this is surely the highpoint.

look at the 2:11 mark...Largo flashes the infamous malocchio or "Devil Horns" made famous by the late Ronnie James Dio. Ronnie's Italian Grandmother use to do that to give or ward off the "evil eye" and here it is in a James Bond film way back in 1965! That is too cool. \m/ \m/ Dio and Bond...what could be better!!

Out of all his James Bond films, I think, Sean Connery looks the best in "Thunderball". And after that in "From Russia with Love".

Coincidently, Connery passed away in Nassau too
RIP the ONE and ONLY JB

This is what Connery had that the rest just did not have. That physical star presence. No question Dan Craig was a a great JB. He just did not have the physical presence that Connery had in the role. Not really a fault of Craig. It is such a rare trait.
