Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) takes measures to get James Bond (Daniel Craig) out of the Montenegro casino card game in CASINO ROYALE. Directed by Martin Campbell.

To make the poker look realistic the cast were given lessons in how to play Texas Hold ‘Em which included the correct way to hold and protect your cards. They would also play for two or three hours after filming had finished, sometimes with real money. “I’m sure there was a lot of money lost on that set,” said Daniel Craig.

After this one the most hilarious dialogue was spoken "Last game... Nearly killed me"

I absolutely loved it!

Simply one of the best Bond films ever. What a flawless debut for Craig.

What makes Mads Mikkelsen such a magnificent villain is that he's so hard to read... Whenever he plays a villain (usually with an incredible straight face and impish grin), I always want to know his inner thoughts.

The most iconic scene of the James Bond saga in my opinion.

The Daniel Craig bond movies have had literally some of the most fantastic actors of our generation cast as the villains. Combined with Craig's charm, you have my favorite Bond.

I love the cinematography in this scene. When Bond gets poisoned the lighting gets harsher and harsher with every cut until it's almost overexposed when he stumbles into the restroom. Also, the audio gets stuffier and stuffier, with an added high frequency tone, just like what one would hear when the blood pressure skyrockets. It's mimicking what Bond experiences, making the viewer an authentic witness to his predicament. Splendid.

He is the most vulnerable Bond, he let's his emotions get the best of him. It is also what makes him the best.

This is why Bond is specific about his Martinis. Serve it any other way, and he's dead.

Le Chiffre looks at James like he wants to roast his thigh in clay.

The glance at the martini is one of the best moments in all the Bond films.

That "I wouldn't dream of it" delivery has Pierce written all over it

Daniel craig brought a real brawn and true fragility to the Bond character in this movie. I really like what he did with the interpretation of this, and the following bond scripts. An epic effort considering the critics he would, has already, and will still face. Champion actor, champion effort. Bravo.

Eva Green: "Oh yes, this old school Nintendo 64 game controller is obviously a defibrillator. No brainier, he's obviously been poisoned, and was attempting to resuscitate himself before realizing the lead was disconnected on the defibrillator. I'll just connect that, and ahh, yeah, here ya go. All set!" Quick thinker that one.
