For me maybe the best movie scene ever - here you see how a hardened assassin becomes a loving, compassionate man.

A truly beautiful scene. The chemistry and emotional investment between the actors. I so respect actors.

This scene is really strong. When he sees her in the shower he does something a bit unexpected he goes to sit next to her showing how he really cares. Most people would just say “ get out of the shower, it’s no good for, your gonna get sick”. James does not say that he respects her feelings, and interacts with vesper in a lovely way. When he turns the hot water on, it shows that he wants to console her. It’s like he takes her sadness personally.

One of the few scenes where bond shows real vulnerability, and that why it's one of the best.
Casino royale wasn't just a great bond film, its one of the best written, directed and acted thrillers made in the film.

My favorite scene in the film, and it does mirror/foreshadows the ending, masterpiece of how to construct an emotional scene with minimum dialogue and editing.

He was young and cocky but also very gentle and caring 😇

I am beginning to believe the shower scene foreshadows the movie's ending.

The chemistry between Vesper and Bond was insane she was truly the best Bond girl too bad it was short lived

I think that this scene with Vesper did more to establish a romantic relationship than both Spectre and No Time to Die could with their entire runtimes with Madeleine's character. I just never felt that Madeleine was a very good love interest for Bond.

The best scene in the film. Bond had JUST killed 2 men right in front of Vesper shortly before this. He immediately began barking orders at her: “Go find Mathis. Tell him I’ve hidden the bodies down here and I want him to get rid of them. Do it now. Go, go…GO” not giving a damn to what she was going through in that moment. He then comes back and sees her sitting in the shower. At this moment, he realizes how much he has inadvertently traumatized her by his actions. As he sits with her trying so desperately to play it cool, wanting to apologize, he’s now confronted by a tidal wave of thoughts. Why apologize for something he will likely have to do again at some point and possibly right in front of her again? How can I possibly make up for what I did to this woman’s soul? So THIS is the life of a cold blooded killer…. As the camera pans away, you can tell that, as much as Vesper needed Bond to be there for her in this moment, Bond NEEDED Vesper to be there for him too, as he seems to be quietly stunned to discover that he still has a soul. For the first time in a LONG time, Craig made you FEEL like what it’s like to BE Bond…..and much of that time, it is an unpleasant and painful life.

He killed people with his hands and he also loves and cares with his hand.

This is how a real man operates. Something that western society has conveniently forgotten. I wonder why...

This is truly beautiful but it still reminds me that women in England, women like her, upper class women have no idea what violence truly is, but continue to lecture and talk tough about it. They have no idea and do not see violence and death for what they truly are, and that horrible.
