This Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal is one of my favorite easy breakfast meals!🍎

Ingredients:
* 2 medium apples, any kind
* 2 tbsp butter
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 2 cups milk, I use whole milk
* 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
* pinch salt
* 2 tbsp brown sugar or pure maple syrup

Instructions:
* Peel and core the apples; chop into ½-inch pieces.
* In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
* Add the chopped apples and cinnamon; stir to combine. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the apples begin to soften, about 4 to 5 minutes.
* Add the milk, oats and salt; stir to combine. Increase the heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Immediately reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the oats have softened and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 6 to 8 minutes.
* Stir in the brown sugar or maple syrup; serve.
