When Simon and Garfunkel first released this beautiful song, I was a sophomore in high school. I immediately fell in love with it and have continued to listen to it for over fifty years.
During my junior year I even wrote an essay about the meaning of the lyrics and why it had such an impact on me for an English assignment.

As lovely as the original version is, with the incredible harmony of the duo, and all the great covers through the years by other talented artists, I really think this is the best version I have ever heard.
This young lady is really amazing.

As an older guy who grew up in the late 60s and 70s; this is proper, classic, world-class singing. No props, tricks, odd styles or messing about; just pure talent. Great tone, phrasing, timing, breathing; power and soul by the truckload. The real deal.
