One of the best songs ever recorded. One of the best of all-time. An absolute masterpiece. We will never have music like this again.

I never went out with my close male friend. But he was there for me, in my darkest days. He would sing and have this smile, just to cheer me up. He was someone, who made me feel so special, who never took advantage of me. I messed up my friendship with him, because I had feeling for him. I felt it is the only thing I can do, to try and move on. But it is the biggest mistake I have ever made in my life!!! I pray the Lord will, grant me and him to rekindle our friendship!!

As a cancer patient, whenever I am going through a particularly rough time, I listen to this song.

A classic from Simon & Garfunkel (1970) When I first heard this immortal classic I was twelve years old and I cried after hearing it on my little transistor radio that my grandmother gave me for my 12th birthday in July of 1969. I will never forget the day I first heard this beautiful classic that gently touches the soul.

This was our wedding song in 1971. 52 years later, we are still a bridge over troubled water for each other.

Was 12 yrs. old in 1970 when this song came out. Never forgot it. Brings tears to my eyes.... Why? Because those years till my teens were 100% the BEST years of my life and they are gone Still; I consider myself BLESSED to have lived my younger years in that era!

This song will never age . It will always be just as good to hear it every time even multiple times . It may even be a source of comfort to many

This is one of the main reasons why the 1970s was the best musical decade.

That voice is a gift from God. I’ve heard it said that it is in music we are closest to God. Surely the angels sound just like this. Thank you God for putting Simon and Garfunkel together to create beautiful music that touched our lives so profoundly.

I just lost my sister on March 23, 2023, from Cancer. It's an undesirable ache that I'm feeling. 😢 As I listen to this song, it puts me in remembrance of God's word. Psalms 147:3 (KJV). Lord, please heal my heart. 💔

My long deceased mother's favorite song. And at the same time the song we sang with the school choir at our school's graduation ceremony, which signified the end of a stage of life. An important and precious song in my life that means a lot to me and always moves me to tears.
