Hi Jena! I have to say I love the direction your channel is going. I love that you are being so mindful of how you spend your money, and you aren’t afraid to tell us you aren’t buying something because you just don’t need it. For me, some of these eyeshadow palettes look so gorgeous online. Then I go see it in store and I realize I already have similar colors already and pass. So for me personally, it’s better for me to shop in the store. Saves lots of money and time. 👍

I completely agree with you, Jena!!! I am OVERWHELMED by the amount of makeup that I ALREADY HAVE! Even though I have MANY things that I ABSOLUTELY ADORE, I just don’t have enough eyes/cheeks/lips/etc to wear everything as much as I would want 😓 😭🤷🏽‍♀️

So I have adopted this really great technique for myself: I look at things and I have to be very firm with myself if I really want them or not. If I really DO, then I allow myself to order them and when they come in really look hard at if they spark as much JOY as I thought they would. If not, I IMMEDIATELY return them or even better DONATE them. I just don’t have the SPACE anymore to keep stuff I’m so/so on. Ya know???

I COMPLETELY AGREE that a LOT of the time we purchase stuff it’s because it’s SHINY and NEW, or the packaging is BEAUTIFUL or whatever. And it’s all typically just more of the SAME STUFF 🤣🤣🤣

I like the Naked palettes, i don't have a "gold" palette... so I really am interested in the Honey palette. Pillowtalk is the cashcow like Orgasm to Nars, Hoola to Benefit...Gets annoying to repeat over and over again.

The Hourglass collection definitely has my attention, especially the blush quad. I will have to see how many repeat products are in the face palatte before I can decide on that one! I don't own any Pillow Talk products and I don't plan on buying any.💜

I agree with you AGAIN Jena! 😁 There is so much makeup and so many brands popping out new releases every week that I am all saturated. Normally this was my favourite time of the year, all the Holiday releases were so exciting. And now I am sitting here like: boring, next, boring next. I am also that girl that is totally in love with Colourpop and totally in love with almost all high end brands 😂

Looking closely at the two Too Faced Gingerbread palettes side by side, I have to say I do think they are two distinctly different palettes (unpopular opinion, I know). The extra spicy has a lot of peachy shades with more neutral shimmers and none of the jewel tones that the original gingerbread had. I think the downfall of the extra spicy is in its marketing- people probably would've liked the exact same shades/setup a lot more if it was branded as the "Christmas Cookie" palette or something similar instead.
