As per USUAL, I crammed a lot into this video: Sephora Holiday Sets, Too Faced palette review/review of the set I bought, and what I really think you NEED TO KNOW about Sephora's new return policy (😒)

Side note on this - I forgot to mention that the primer does seem to matter. TF's Shadow Insurance and, somehow, Mac's Paint Pot have been my favorites with it. ABH's & UD's primers had a shorter wear time. I suspect this palette needs a "grippy" primer, set only where you blend vs the lid itself.

As someone who has worked tons of retail one of the things that annoys me about them not being upfront about the return policy is that their poor employees are the ones who will have to inform people and deal with the pissed off customers in the end.

I'll be winding down my purchasing at Sephora. Not only has their return policy changed, but their point system is ridiculous. 1, 000 pts. For $25 vs. ULTA 2, 000 pts. For $125.

I return items and always have my receipts. But that’s just me. Agree that they should have informed all Sephora customers. I think it’s a little underhanded by not making people aware of their policy change.

Thanks for sharing the updated Sephora info. That being said, I generally prefer Ulta anyway due to their loyalty program. Sephora's VIB is all but useless. The only time I shop at Sephora these days is if I'm looking for a particular product that Ulta does not carry. I actually prefer Sephora over Ulta, but the money I save with Ulta through their Rewards program is well worth it to me.

I am more bothered by the “reward” program. There basically isn’t one. The return policy only bothers me in that I think Sephora has no respect for the customer and they aren’t very honest when it comes to their communication - or in this case, lack of communication.

Sephora makes the weirdest decisions...That said, I really can’t imagine needing more than 30 days to decide if I want a product or not (especially when they are so good with giving out samples.)

Since that's your favorite product, you may be able to find it on Ebay or Poshmark. Sometimes that works, other times, once you add s/h it's better to just buy a 2nd kit. QVC recently had a 10 pc. Tarte TSV (A369737): foundation, 2 eye/cheek palettes, 2 brushes, 2 mascaras, 2 glosses and sponge for $60. Almost got it...$6 an item is tempting, heck, better then drugstore pricing.

And now imagine the European Sephora does not accept returns at all. If you buy a shitty product, have an allergic reaction or just hate the thing, you´re stuck with it.

I grabbed the set for that ND Diamond and Blush palette as well, plus the Artist Couture Finisher. I have the big ND blush palette which is similar and that’s why I didn’t buy the mini duo when it released. I just couldn’t justify it. But in this set with all the other stuff, it’s amazing! You can grab that one on its own for $25 I believe. I love the finished look. I adore the juxtaposition of warm and cool. It’s unexpected (and maybe unplanned), but it absolutely works!!! ❤️

I have a costumer that returns everything. She’ll waste our time asking for the latest only to have it returned a week later. I bet she wears her underwear with the tags and returns it a week later as well.
