I live by Carver in Clackamas County Oregon. I have raised my family in this beautiful area of the country. I have two sons (grown now) and we used to enjoy everything this area has to offer. Camping, snowboarding on Hood, fishing, I had my boat at Fairaday lake above Estacada, etc. etc. Like most kids they thought bigfoot was cool and we always looked for him (for fun) while camping. I had an open mind but really didn't give it much thought. In April of 2018 I was with my oldest who was 19 at the time. He had a new rifle we wanted to test. We were at the Bagby turn off but went left instead of going right to Bagby. Long story short one of these things stepped out from behind a tree after hitting us with pinecones. We would have never known it was their but it wanted us gone. It was dusk so we just saw the outline of it. We found out later we had parked next to a game trail and were right in the middle of their hunt (we think) as we came back other times to investigate and watched deer go down that path. I forgot to mention we were hearing limbs shatter right before that. I had no idea what was causing that until we spotted it. I didn't know they did that, apparently "tree knocks" are common. Anyway it scared the living shit out of me as it was MASSIVE. It could have flipped our four runner over with one arm, no joke. All I cared about was leaving alive with my son after seeing it. I didn't ask him to hold on a sec so I could get my iphone out to prove it and take a pic. That was the last thing on my mind. We "researched" for a year or two after and had some very strange things happen, not all bigfoot related (I think). We heard a car door close in the middle of nowhere, no other cars within 10 miles, we heard weird metallic sounds once, we were followed home by a state trooper (this was the strangest part of the two years) which I didn't see until ten minutes after we were home he knocked on my door and, no shit, asked me if I had a good day with my son in the woods? WTF? I was so confused? He said ok, have a great night and left? We were hiking and came upon a small opening in the woods that had a HUEY helicopter sitting there. I know they are used for logging, but this one had no markings, had about two feet clearance on either side of the rotor. Whoever landed it was a fantastic pilot. One guy who looked like an "operator" was standing by the chopper and told us to get the hell out of there. I said "dude this is public land", then he gave me a look of "don't be that guy, I'll fuck you up" and I said "ok man, we are outta here". I know what operators look like and didn't want to push my luck. So many other things, to much to list.
