We bring the one stat per cycle challenge to Dark Souls 2! In the New Game cycle, we only level Strength, in New Game Plus, we only level Dex and in New Game Plus Plus, we only level Adapability!

I must also use a different weapon for every single boss fight! Shields, Fists and Whips weren't used because I'll be doing a separate video for those!

Jester Thomas is scripted to do a gesture at the start of the fight, but his AI will prioritize dodging away from you over anything else. If you get close to him at the start and keep up the pressure he'll keep waiting for an opening to gesture and never fight back.

Hey hey, it's an obtuse tip for your next snow kitty encounter. Aava, Lud and Zallen will degrade your weapon durability much less if you hit their heads instead of their bodies.

Also, the pyromancers in Lost Sinner NG+ onwards will always spawn when her health reaches 60%. Nice and simple, no relation to any of the lighting mechanics of her arena.

I will always say this but I love Dark Souls 2 and I think it makes for some of the best challenge runs and batshit crazy ideas than any other Souls game. There's so many wacky builds and ideas and since the game was rushed it's also really fun to speedrun. Over 10 years later and people are still doing incredibly creative challenge runs and I literally just watched another YouTuber I like do a randomizer run. This game never ceases to amaze😊
