Reasons my American ex-wife has said she'd never go back to the US from Canada. She doesn't have to compare crimes in neighborhoods rates when she wants to move or enroll the kids in school. Few guns so significantly reduced violent crime. Far less racism and sexism.

America is just so messed up, it hurt's. What makes it even worse are the people who don't want to see it. Stupid people make me sick and i could just go along and don't be angry about others, but if everyone would just go along, nothing would have ever changed anywhere.

Not even just the crime rate with your kids being outside alone - other parents calling the cops for you letting them have any kind of autonomy

My grandfather was a dual citizen, USA and UK, but he lived in the US for most his adult life and raised my mother and her siblings there. He came back to the UK when he was diagnosed with cancer and his kind American doctor told him "you can't afford to have cancer here. I strongly suggest you move back to England." If it weren't for that, maybe I would be American myself

I started watching your videos today and I have started to be a lot more appreciative of my home country Austria (Which has a lot of similarities to Germany besides the language).
I find the US has a lot of good stuff going for it but the negative stuff heavily outweighs the positives.

Not saying Germany or Europe in general is all sunshine and rainbows. Bad sh*t is Happening everywhere sadly.

Its not only germany. The same goes more or the less for the whole north western part of europe

I moved to France in 1972. I'm originally from Los Angeled and since 1975 I've lived in the greater Paris area. Safer neighborships, affordable health insurance and much better food keep me 😮⁰

When a nation insists on spending half its budget on the military, you can’t really have nice things.

Keep preaching maybe the US will listen one day! My grandson was diagnosed with metastasized papillary thyroid cancer in 2013 when he was 9. After two thyroidetomys and radio active iodine treatments in two prominent Michigan pediatric hospitals it continued to grow. My daughter attended a thyroid conference in LA and one in Denver and found the leading pediatric thyroid physician was at MD Anderson which is a private hospital and didn’t take their insurance. It took two years to finally get him seen there, they had to get an individual medical insurance policy just for him and that still covered very little of his treatment.
All this to say people have no idea how difficult it is in the US to get the best care unless you are wealthy! This kid who is now 19 cannot get any government assistance or support he’s super hard working, his job doesn’t provide insurance and he’s not sure what he will do now that he’s had some tumor growth. Our government works for big business and the wealthy, definitely not for its most vulnerable citizens.

In Finland: I've never had to starve to buy medication. I've never been shot at. I've never been mugged. I've never felt unsafe being stalked down the street by a man. I've never been groped. The only danger here is the cold and the moose and you can avoid those easily.

Itd absolutely pathetic how many americans get triggered when you simply criticize their country

"Because my taxes[...] go to helping other families." This here is an empathetic woman who gets it.

I always loved to burst the bubble of US citizens who came to Austria, who thought they live in the greatest country in the world. Still amazes me how so many people can be this brainwashed

They have always told us that this is where people come for an easier life and there's nowhere that an American can go and have a better life than the one they have here. If we knew all of that, half of us would have been long gone.

Because I can actually live the lifestyle I want to live without fearing that any number of possible life circumstances will leave me financially destitute while people just thumb their noses and say "not my problem: pay up" or "should have prepared better".

America betrayed me. I worked myself almost to death multiple times. Never skimped out on my taxes. Fought for years to get the medical care I needed to survive and couldn't even hemorrhaging money on insurance and when I got too sick to work they wouldn't even give me food stamps. Never again.
