The way they downplayed Tom playing through that for the whole year is actually pretty crazy to me. They're former players and they know a lot more than I do, but you can't tell me that playing through a torn MCL is no big deal. Especially when you consider the road that the Bucs took to the Superbowl and then they ultimately won. You always see players miss time with lesser injuries. I'm not saying it should mean anything crazy for Brady, but it definitely shows how tough he is if anything. And to do it at that age is crazy.

While Jordan Love will miss 3-6 weeks with a MCL sprain, and everyone is perfectly ok with that.

Just remember this. The body heals a torn MCL due to blood flow. This ain't an ACL here.

WHY TOM BRADY TB12 IS THE GOAT/BOAT OF ALL TIME! - EPISODE III

TOM BRADY TB12 THE GOAT/BOAT vs billybob PART II & Some examples of TB12 GOAT BOAT GREATNESS!

10) 2009 Vs Titans - no explanation needed, 5 TDs in a quarter

9) 2018 AFCCG vs Chiefs - put up 37 points on the road, won in OT converting three 3rd and 10s in a row to make sure Mahomes never touched the ball

8) 2013 vs Broncos - one thing the video doesn’t convey; Brady was not he reason they were down 24-0. He ended up with 344 yards, 3 TDs, no picks

7) SB 52 vs Eagles - playoff record 505 yards and 3 TDs, most points ever scored by a team that lost the SB

6) 2011 divisional vs Broncos - tied the postseason TD record with he did it with 27 minutes left in the game

5) 2017 VS Texans - 378 yards 5 TDs, the last TD came with 23 seconds remaining to win the game 36-33

4) Pats Ravens 2014 Divisonal - 367 yards, 3 TDs plus a rushing TD. Pats were down by 14 at two different points of the game, Brady threw an absolute dime of a TD to take the lead for good in the 4th quarter. The pats didn’t attempt a run in the second half. Brady absolutely carried them

3) SB 38 vs Panthers - had an 11 point lead in the 4th quarter, but the defense couldn’t hold up and Brady had to retake it two more times

2) SB 49 vs Seahawks - greatest 4th quarter in SB history. 13/15 for 124 yards and 2 TDs against a team that had allowed 10 points in its last eight 4th quarters combined

1) SB 51 vs Falcons - I mean how do you argue against it. Every good qb has games where they put up monster numbers. There’s never been another SB performance like this

Honorable mention to 2007 divisional game (playoff record completion rate 92.8%, 3 TDs no picks), SB 39 (110 rating with 2 TDs and no picks, and his third game winning drive in the SB), his two perfect passer rating games, 517 yard game against the phins

Aaron Rodgers is 0-42 when trailing by more than one point in the fourth quarter to a team with a winning record(.500+)

Let that sink in.

Did you know: If you took away all the playoff TD passes that Tom Brady has to Moss, Gronk, Branch, Edelman, Welker, Hogan & Amendola...

Brady would still have the most playoff TD passes in history.

Brady has 80. Removing all those guys puts him at 46. Rodgers & Montana are 2nd with 45.

18%. Just think in 2000 years unless he’s still playing, it will be under 1%.
That’s something Brady haters can wait for.

Tom Brady now has more super bowl appearances than Phillip Rivers has children.

Patriots before Brady 5-11 first year with Brady super bowl
Tampa before Brady 7-9 first year with Brady super bowl

Bill Belichick has had 4 pro bowl quarterbacks thru his head coaching career. Vinny Testaverde, Drew Bledsoe, Cam Newton, and Tom Brady. He’s 48-64 with the 3 other quarterbacks not named Tom Brady. Bill should have gotten on his knees to beg Brady to stay.

Brady was great in Michigan. He was already the Comeback kid in college. Belichick is a defensive coordinator turned coach. He doesn't work with the offense.

Belichick should kiss the ground Brady walked on for saving his job in New England. There's also the fact that Brady took paycuts for YEARS to keep quality players around him. What did Belichick do? Spend their capital on defense. Brady consistently had to play with under-sized, under-utilized receivers. Remember how everyone has always said Brady could pull people off the street and turn them into Wide Receiving superstars? That's not Belichick...

You can't give Belichick credit for developing Brady when he wins the Superbowl in his first year. 3 out of 4 in his first four years. He's got no time to develop Brady. He came straight from two championship years in college.

People makes too many dumb comments to even take him seriously...Bill Belichick can teach a 6th round draft choice how to win but can't figure out how to win with All Pro 100 million dollar quarterback Drew Bledsoe...it's obvious he paid someone to take his exams for him in college.

Not only did Brady work wonders at Michigan, but Bledsoe led pats were 0-4 when Brady took over. They would not lose another game that year. Matt Casell had the exact same roster as Brady had in 07, didn't even make the playoffs. Oh, and we are going to forget how Belichick almighty defense fell apart in those 3 superbowl loses, especially when he SAT MALCOLM BULTER? Brady was team first always. But if you are going to replace Tom, you have to beat him for his spot. He said that over a decade ago. Belichick tried to put in Jimmy when Jimmy couldn't take Brady's spot. AFTER Belichick hung Brady out to dry over deflategate. So no. At the end of the Day, It was the G.O.A.T. and a good head coach. But the Patriot way was built on Brady not Belichick.

Belichick without Brady 51-65. Brady without Belichick 11-5 with a Superbowl.

You can't claim Mozart was great because of his teacher.

Patriots SPENT ALL resources they had every year on D... they always ignored offense... yet Brady ALWAYS had a top 2 offense with a coach that ignored offense...

What coach couldn't get consistent top 10 Ds with all resources spent on D..

What a joke

Belichick with Brady... 17/18 DIVISION TITLES...

BELICHICK without Brady... 0/8 DIVISION TITLES...

bro not just that... but versus Giants in the Superbowl Patriots were winning 7-3 in the 3rd qtr... in FG range on a 4th and 13, and Bill against the best PASS DEFENSE in NFL went for 4th and 13 instead of taking the 3.. to go up 10-3... giving a 7 point lead.. I remember at the time, thinking that is the stupidest decision I've EVER SEEN any COACH make, yet Nobody Talks about it EVER!

meanwhile the final score??

A 3 point loss!!

The field goal he turned down!

bill had a losing record as a head coach till be got brady

Been a Patriots fan since the early 70's and have seen almost every game. Here are the cold hard facts. Belichick has coached 8 full years (and Brady's 4 game suspension in 2015) without Brady as starting QB. 5 with the Browns and 3 with the Patriots (2000, 2008 and 2020). During that time he made it to 1 playoff and had 2 winning seasons. His record without Brady is 62 wins, 70 losses. That's not a small sample size. The bottom line is that without Brady, Belichick is a losing coach.

Tom Brady is the guy who kept those teams together and made the thing work. As Danny Amendola recently pointed out, this "Patriot way" horseshit was Tom Brady-period. Players respected Belichick but have never liked him. Free agents came to play with Tom Brady-not Belichick. Belichick is arrogant, inflexible and overrated.

Without Brady, Belichick will never win another Super Bowl in the foreseeable future. Every year that the Patriots continue to lose Belichick's legacy will continue to diminish.

So Belichick almost invested 300 MILLION THIS SEASON, AN NFL RECORD, WHY?

BECAUSE HE IS SO GOOD? WHAT DID Belichick WHEN THE TB12 GOAT BOAT WAS THERE? NOTHING! NIENTE! NADA!

BILL PARCELLS STARTED THE PATRIOT WAY NOT Belichick!

Teddy Bruschi, Willie McGinest, Ty Law, Troy Brown and that original core of players that won in 2000 (that was mostly put together by Bill Parcells thru the draft).

And by the time Amendola got there, the Patriots Way was definitely Tom Brady as he was the only OG Super Bowl winner from that time, but the mentality was built by that original team, Brady included.

Belichick's drafting has been terrible. No drafted pro bowlers since 2013, and they constantly miss on free agents.

FOR EXAMPLE:

1 - Manning was not a cold-weather QB. His record when temp was below 40 degrees = 4-17

2 - Out of every single QB who has played in the NFL since 2000, not a single one has more than 2 Super Bowl rings.

3 - Aaron Rodgers 1-42 when down in the 4th quarter against teams with winning records. You want to win blow out pointless games or do you want someone who can fight through adversity and win you rings?

4 - Tom Brady has 7

See the thing about Brady haters, is the one they try to avoid when talking about Tom Brady is Facts and Numbers. They only want to speak from the standpoint of opinions based on emotions.

In the end you just have to laugh at they're never ending misery and think

Real GOAT on to #8

I like how the very first guy isn't impressed in the slightest and completely debunks that this is something special, because it's not. Like he said, LOTS of QB's have played entire seasons with messed up knees. Tom Brady isn't special.

if your argument is that its harder to win or be great in NBA then log off. Brady played in snow storms, freezing temps.

He's played with a broken finger and dislocated shoulder. Brees played with broken ribs and look how the saints looked with that ONE GUY not at 100%.

Theres levels to this. Brady is the most renowned QB to do more with less at the receiver position. Making no name receivers look like superstars.

You have 4 chances to beat jordan in the playoffs. You only have one chance in the nfl. The QB is the captain of the ship and brady turned a losing franchise into a champion in one year without training camp.

Tom Brady is the GOAT of all sports. He is a unicorn. Not only is he great but greatness follows him. He is the apex of the Mathew principal in professional sports.

Luckiest quarterback of all time.
I can't think of another QB who has more attributed to him for doing less than Brady in his last four SB wins. He did what he needed to do to win, but so did the TEAM. He hasn't been Peak Brady since 2015. For the most part his great defense and incidental foul calls have nudged him to the Superbowl. Also, there is zero skill in a coin flip in overtime ...worst overtime rules in pro American sports.
