Nice video. I just finished assembling one of these. I found three things helpful in the assembly:

* The back of the display had metal bezel tabs rubbing on the circuit board so I used a little electrical tape to insulate the two.

* The capacitors made soldering a few of the switches difficult so I'd install the caps last.

* I used just a dab of hot glue along the edge of the switches to hold them in place while I soldered the other side. No mis-alignment here.

It works great for what I need it to do!

Yeah, depending the configuration the XR can have a very clean signal, keep it as an option.
