I got on a high fat keto type of diet, eating a lot of things that are considered bad. I got rid of the bread, potatoes, cokes/ diet cokes and refined sugars. I still drink some sweet tea from time to time. On my last labs back in the first part June, my A1C went down from a 6.5 to a 5.9 with no medication. My LDL went from 265 to 155. I couldn’t believe it! I lost about 20 pounds, did about 25 to 30 mins on a row machine 4 times a week along with some other exercise involved also. I started drinking about a gallon of water a day and I was taking around 5 or 6 Psyllium capsules 2 or 3 times a day and I was taking Braggs Apple Cider vinegar pills too. I’m not as hungry and I don’t miss the sweet bad foods I use to eat is another benefit.

Psyllium actually took away my bloating and gas. I was already eating lots of fiber, but my digestive system isn’t the greatest at processing fiber, so psyllium has been a godsend.

I started taking two+ tablespoons a day: one in the morning after I test my blood and befor i dose myself with black coffee/espresso, two teaspoons before I break my (16 - 19hr) daily fast, and 1.5 tsp a few hours before sleep. I see a flattening of my blood glucose levels similar to eating a strict kego diet. I am currently on a low carb Mediterranean diet.

Kelloggs All Bran Buds is loaded with psyllium husk. Great for my hemorrhiod problem i've had for the last 25 years. Just 6 to 8 oz with 8 to 12 oz of fat free milk twice a week I think saved my life. Plus vastly improved my cholesteriol levels. I'm 65 years old.

I combined 3 tablespoons of psyllium husk and a tablespoon on inulin in my morning berry smoothie most morning.

I have been taking a flat tablespoon of psyllium husk mixed with a flat tablespoon of black chia seeds in a glass of water. I stir this mixture & let it sit for about 5 minutes, to allow the mixture to absorb the water. Then I drink a couple of mouthfuls of this mixture with every meal.
The main purpose is this mixture keeps me regular & I don’t constipate. Also it helps to get rid of the bad cholesterol & clears my arteries.

I've been taking Metamucil....for the past 2 weeks religiously... two heaping tablespoons in a glass of water twice a day... so 4 tablespoons total per day.... and let me say...the first few days I didn't notice...but after continuing to use it...I literally do feel lighter in my gut...I did read that if you do take it...don't take any medications for 2 hours...I guess it makes sense as it absorbs the medication you take if you take it during that 2 hour window...I was so afraid it was cause gas and bloating... but I've not noticed that at all..

Thank you my blood sugar is always high sometimes it 20 mmol/L. I quickly used dumb bells and it lower fast after 20 mins working out. I will do this every meal and check again after a week here. Thank you!

Yesterday around noon I had eggs and broccoli then later in the afternoon I a glass of natural psyllium husk . I noticed even 2 hours later I was not hungry at all. This tells me I could easily go into an overnight fast but instead I thought I needed to eat even though I could have passed, so did have fish and salad.
