Hey Ryan, if that's floor one above the basement.
Don't restore the small separation between the room and stair hallway. Leave it open and expose the stair case with a great handrail.
With both windows, it is so much brighter. Gives a little more floor space as well. It will look amazing!!!

I am so sorry for your forced deconstruction but in a way, I am glad you are being forced to rip out the old and put in new and safe. You will be so happy that your new house is now safe and even healthy with now wood worm and sagging floors and gosh only knows what airborn bugs in the air. It’ll be all good and all your construction and that is good, sadly not inexpensive but very good. Think about getting an architect to lay it out perfectly and very thoughtful. There wasn’t anything wrong with your videos before, anything you’ve published has been wonderful to my eyes. Of course, I’m just this side of blind.😋 It’s lovely to hear that your Patreon site is bringing benefits already, and I know you’ll put it all to good use. It sure was a flimsy wall, it gives you the chance to set up the room in a better configuration that suits you. It may be hard to believe but someday you’ll be putting in new walls and floors. A lot of people seem to care for your well-being, that is a great thing. Don't let the NEGATIVE NANCY'S effect your success here. Just imagine if you are able to nearly finish the Demo work and haul off the mess before Magic Moon makes his way back to you and your flat. It's all uphill once the final demo is done...the best thing about not being rich doing this is that your progress will line right up with your means financially. I'm working on a place myself, but not as historic as anything you English YouTubers in France are doing...I love your light-hearted personality(I've considered looking into missing persons from the mental hospitals near you😂😂) keep up the good work.
