Good video, with good points. Understanding the root causes of things is very important, for example, there may be good reason why someone is doing something in a specific way. Its therefore extremely important to speak to them and understand a process so you are in the best position to advise. Sometimes that person you asked might have the solution..

Other good ideas is actually just observing people work and see what they have to do and how they do it. A lot of people will feel rushed or awkward, but you should take time to observe.

Another important thing to consider is the time of day that you do your inspection. For example, if you only ever do your inspections during day light hours, how will you know about hazards that only exist at night? I will give you an example, there was a school in the UK that carried out a health and safety inspection and found no major issues. There was however a trip hazard, but in daylight it was obvious to see so it wasn't raised as an issue. The school held a parents evening at night, a parent tripped on the item and sustained a head injury and died from their injuries. The school got done for not considering it as a hazard at night.
Similarly, don't forget about certain individuals such as cleaners who are almost always forgotten about, and as such, they never receive formal site inductions, may not be aware of the hazards present, and may even be introducing new hazards like hazardous cleaning substances.

I am disappointed that in this video, 2 of the Safety Committee members did not have their hi-vis vests closed, especially around machinery
