Fantastic job on this review! I own one of these and I like it a lot except the engine can be a little lethargic if I don’t push that throttle aggressively but the turbo kicks in and it will move after a few seconds. It looks like the prop rod under the hood has been moved. I wonder how MIB3 is? I only wish the center armrest was higher and had a slide adjustment so I can move it forward. The Nissan Murano has an excellent center console and nicely positioned armrest. I like the power rear hatch too. Thank you for the positive review of this Tiguan. I drove all the competitors and the Tiguan feels solid.

I have a 2021 Diamond White Life Plus 1.5 turbo, 150 hp, regular 5 seater, with all the possible options. It's a beautiful car, albeit a bit under-powered, and the black leather seats I ordered turned out to be a grey leather composite ("Vienna Leather"). However, the car (like most VW's) grows on you more and more and I wouldn't change it for any of the up-and-coming car manufacturers. The styling is conservative but timeless and the car has become a member of our family which is what most Tiguan owners will tell you.

This is a 2020 but really they are almost identical except 2021 has USB-C and they ditch the compass indicator in the rear view mirror. As well as the things you have mentioned. I do have a 2021 SE rline black so I could be wrong for the 2021 SEL. Good video, great vehicle

thigh cushion could definitely have been better and longer in the rear seat, really wouldn't cost much but would add a lot to the comfort level

I have the 190bhp diesel SEL, it is pretty quick and does about 45 mpg on a run without really trying. I had the Honda CRV before and this feels a better drive.
