Seen a knight in complete full plate run through a military obstacle course. His time comparably to the modern soldier in modern ballistic armor

It's actually really nice to see bright coloured clothing showing what areas are unprotected by the armour, showing how it offers mobility and showing what areas could be targeted/need to be protected

I've started to think that the myth if plate being so incredibly cumbersome comes from ceremonial, and joust sets that could be far heavier then the set you would wear for combat.

People really dont appreciate the amount of effort the old world put into making armour plate feel less like a chunk of metal, and more like an exoskeleton of an insect, or a second armoured skin. Its truly a marvel armourers and craftsmen put into making these suits.

Plus a knight/man-at-arms would train in their armour everyday and be at peak physical fitness.
So they’d move even better than shown here

I just saw a video about how you can still run even with armor on and it unlocked my new fear of someone chasing me with medieval armor and weapons

the only problem with the mobility is the lack of movement in the torso. with a chestpiece like this, you can't really bend your spine or lumbar very well. other than that, plate armor is pretty mobile and i would highly recommend taking it to any business meetings you can.
