That's not spoiling, that is teaching through creativity.

Nothing wrong with spoiling them once in a while especially when they are kind well-behaved kids ❤

The fact he’s saying “can we” instead of “I want” is proof that he is not one of the kids to worry about. ❤

You're not spoiling him. You're encouraging him and showing interest in the things he loves. It's beautiful. If he becomes an architect or a designer someday, he will remember these moments of you encouraging his dreams!

I think it’s more fostering his interest, like the *Montessori* method. I love seeing how you can tell he’s processing the thing whether the clocks or homes and mentally piecing it together/taking it apart, to understand the thing. That’s really cool. Who knows he may be an architect or engineer.

I had a feeling when he was obsessed with clocks that architecture might be an interest in the future! Glad to see you're engaging with his interests when you can. It very heartwarming! 🥰

There’s a Lego app, where you can take a picture of your pile of Lego and the app will scan the pile and show you different thing you can build with what you have and where you can find the Lego piece you need in the pile I think it’s called Brickit

Honestly - I'm not a parent, but - I think it's great that he's doing things like Lego. It's like a puzzle, problem-solving, developing his interests (architecture is great!), creativity, staying in the moment, focusing and sticking with projects until the end, even things like hand-eye coordination and accurately reading instructions! Besides the fact that you're encouraging his interests, which will help his confidence for the rest of his life! It's not spoiling him or wasting money. I honestly think most interests and activities have more value than people realize.

I'm a little biased, though. I grew up playing video games in a time where that was WAY more denigrated than it is now, especially for a girl. But I feel like I gained SO many skills from video games that are constantly beneficial in my adult life. Hand-eye coordination, good reflexes, problem solving, cooperation, treating every problem like there's a problem so I don't give up... it's been great.

I do this with my kids sometimes too. Theyre not spoiled and they don't always ask for things I just enjoy seeing them extra happy sometimes

You aren’t spoiling him. You are giving him what you necessarily didn’t have as a kid. I do the same. Hugs family.

Thats not spoiling, thats him putting his energy and creativity into legos, as opposed to an ipad or cell phone. I love this!

Your family is by far my favorite. It really shows how kind, loving and courteous the boys are. And the kiddos are just precious and really light up with you both as parents. You are doing amazing things and so are they!

He's grateful isn't he? He got time with you out of it too. It's not just showering him with stuff. You van afford it, he seems to know it's a big and special gift. That's not spoiling. That's just putting a couple of extra cherries on a cake.
