He started the film with long hair and a beard, then was covered in blood with a cloth in his mouth, then the muzzle. First time we see his face even though hes been showing it the whole film. 10/10 movie

Love the blocking of the sequence and the iconization of Mad Max. First, Max retrieves his infamous jacket then he takes a look to the left then the right while getting rid of the mask as he's closing in on the camera up until he's unmasking himself in full frame going past it. Mad Max is finally unleashed to his full glory.

Interesting Easter egg here;
In the road warrior, when the Tanker truck leaves the refinery in the end, some of the hoses weren’t hooked up right. It’s something people comment on in YouTube videos. I wonder if they put this scene in, as a nod to that mistake.

What I love about Hardy's Max as compared to Gibson's is he's more animalistic. Which is Hardy's strength as an actor. Gibson's Max is all about his wits and tenacity. Hardy's Max is cunning and ferocity. Gibson's Max is the wolf that cleverly avoids the trap. Hardy's Max is the wolf that chews through his own leg to escape it.
