Mr. Cristina, I followed your (past) recommendations(s) and added a UPS on/to everything I have, which is electrical - TV, all of my computers, and all of the associated toys. I now am using 5 APC UPS, which covers all of my equipment. Of course, I experienced the same outage (Starlink) as everyone else, but thanks to the UPS, (touch wood) I have had no problems. I hope that you don't mind me being a tad repetitive, but I'm old; I do not have time for nonsense, and I find your channel valuable - as such, I am a subscriber. I appreciate everything you do, and a little more diversity (as in diversity to address other technical issues) would be great! Thank you.

Anyone else love these Starlink videos that he makes but absolutely love the whole opening credits. “Your cup of tea, cup of coffee, download my ebooks, say thank you or just become a member, that would be even better”. Lol. I love it. I look forward to it in every video!!!!😂
Keep up the great work brother, I love your content!

been there, done that. as a project manager, the “supply chain issues” for us were a 28 month delay in parts, last year. but it is getting better and we are now at about 9 months. ( we order several million dollars IT gear a month ).

I am in the lower Pan Handle of Texas. A few months ago, my dish changed position from pointing almost straight up which would cause me to compete with Dallas and San Antonio traffic to pointing more North out over the great plains. Speeds picked up due to less people, less traffic. I am now pointing 15 degrees west with an elevation of 63 degrees, or over the Rocky Mountains. Less people, more consistent higher speeds. It is clear that Starlink is not just pointing straight up to connect to a satellite but pointing dishes to areas of less congestion. This is good for everyone.

I had the same problem logging into the app. I even submitted a ticket, but only got a reply stating they had high volume, and would get back to me ASAP. I ended up deleting the app, resetting the router and everything worked. Now I know WHY it worked. It's all about the WHY! Thanks!

I have a residential unit and my daughter (who lives in a bus currently parked in our carport) has a Roam account. Since activating these two units, they had both been pointing NNE at about 25-30 degrees. About 6 weeks ago, they changed and are now pointing almost due east at about the same angle (thankfully, we are in teh middle of 10 free acres). At that time, we both noticed a good increase in speed. I had been getting 40-60 Mbps on average via residential, but now avergain close to 80 Mbps. The Roam account is about 20% slower. Thaat my not seem real fast, but before Starlink, I had tried Excede Sat, US Cellular Home, and Verizon Home. I was doing good to get 3Mbps at any given time! Starlink works well.

The repointing is interesting to me. Now I’m very interested in using one of Star Mounts units and have my dishy pointing up on the van semi-permanently. Then I don’t’ have to worry about direction/orientation .Thanks for the vids man. We love them. ❤

I went out and took a look and no change in position for my Mr. Bevel. Speeds are better than last time I checked.

I had the same error message on my phone app, but I have a router between my network and Starlink. I just went in and updated my routing table and that resolved it for me.

That is funny. I just checked my dish. It went from pointing N to W. I live on the west coast of Florida. Thanks as normal.

When I had mine set up in my back yard a week or so ago to test it (it’ll be going in my RV), it was pointing NNW (I’m in the Dallas area).

To get into your Apps settings without doing static Route if you use bridge mode like I do click the person icon in your Starlink app then the settings for your starlink will unlock then close the info page by tapping the X in left corner then hit settings that unlocks it then go to snow melt change it to off

My Dishy re-oriented from due north to northwest about 2 or 3 months ago. We are in Kansas City (west side of densely populated central US). Works better as no tree to northeast to contend with now. I haven't checked level angle lately nor noticed any "leaning back"...

My theory is dish realignment is to optimize satellite tracking for maximum satellites at any given point in time. Mine moved from vertical orientation pointing north, to roughly horizontal pointing NNE. I'm near Fl/GA line near I-75.

5:32 Regarding heavy winds. I can say the dish is pretty arrow dynamic as well. I currently have mine mounted on an 8-foot wooden stake that is 2 inches in diameter and about 2 feet into the ground. On a windy day, bursts only cause the dish to sway about an inch. Hopefully, this lasts for the next year.

Mine changed sometime in Jan to mid Feb. More to the NW in central Nebraska.
